Underground Utilities Installer
RJ Zavoral & Sons Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual for an Underground Utilities Installer.
Applicants must have/possess:
- Previous construction/pipelaying experience is preferred
- High Physical capacity/able to lift 50+lbs
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving shoveling, lifting, carrying, climbing
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and walk uneven job sites, navigate in and out of trench
- Valid Driver’s License
- RJ Zavoral & Sons Inc. will provide on the job training as needed

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage cell phone use
- Wear proper PPE: safety vest, eye and hearing protection
- Ability to work in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner
- Perform daily maintenance and inspection of equipment
- Perform tasks involving physical labor at building, underground and heavy construction projects
- Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, surveying equipment, and a variety of other equipment
- Repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment, including servicing, adjusting, testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical, (not electronic) principles
- Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, install underground, sewer, water, and storm sewer pipe
- Communicate with other crew members and supervisor/foreman on job
- Must have thorough understanding of construction/utility installation
- Promote, execute, and adhere to company safety program
- Perform other duties as instructed
