Heavy Equipment Operator
RJ Zavoral & Sons Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Applicants must have/possess:
- Previous operating experience preferred
- Construction experience is preferred.
- High Physical capacity/able to lift 50+lbs
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and walk uneven job sites
- Valid Driver’s License
- RJ Zavoral & Sons Inc. will provide on the job training as needed

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage cell phone use
- Housekeeping: Keep cab and windows clean
- Wear proper PPE: safety vest, eye and hearing protection
- Operate the equipment in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner
- Perform daily maintenance and inspection of equipment
- Successfully operate equipment to desired skill level to complete the job efficiently and produce a high-quality product
- Determine speed and direction of machine, using knowledge of material and equipment
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning and moving the machine in response to hand or audio signals from crew members
- Communicate with crew and foreman on job.
- Must have thorough understanding of heavy machine operating
- Promote, execute, and adhere to company safety program
- Perform other duties as instructed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Operator Experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Multi-tasking capability in a fast-paced work environment.
